This luxury hotel complex is located up the hill from the warm Tabacon River, where they have built an elabotrate spa. The rooms are large and attractive, with a great nighttime view of the volcano from either balconies or garden patios. But the best reason of all for staying here is to use the spa. Three way warm swimming pools, one with swim-up bar and cemment tube slide, are very popular, as is the stream that features a natural waterfall with a ledge to sit under. The Volcano heats the pools and river and it´s great to go in the evening and see steam rise from the bath-tub warm river.
A tropical garden weaves along the streambed, and visitors will delight in the colorful setting here. If you are not staying at the hotel and want to visit the spa, which has mud baths and massages by appoitment, it´s best to make a reservation for netrance and / or dinner, especially in high season. The Restaurant overlooks the volcano and river. It´s a good choice for buffet or A La Carte dining.
