BEACH AND MOUNTAIN TRAILS – STANDARD FREE STYLE ADVENTURE PROGRAM (A)/(B) 9 days/ 8 nights Day 1: San José.

Day 1: San José. Arrive at San Jose International Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your Hotel in San José. The balance of the day is available for sightseeing in the capital city. Hotel Presidente or similar (1 night)

 Day 2, 3: Arenal Volcano. In the morning, pick up your 4-wheel drive vehicle at the hotel for your drive to Arenal Volcano area (approx. 4 hrs). Considered the most active volcano in Costa Rica, you will witness the awesome power of its eruptions. Also, as an option you could experience the hot mineral springs heated by the volcano, relax and explore the lush surroundings. Arenal Country Inn or similar (2 nights).

 Day 4: Monteverde Cloud Forest. Today, you will make your way towards the central mountain region, eventually ascending towards the Monterverde Cloud Forest (approx. 4 hrs), and home to an incredible variety of wildlife. Monteverde offers an excellent opportunity to spot several endangered species of birds, as well as the elusive Quetzal. Hotel: Trapp Lodge or similar (1 night).

 Day 5, 6 and 7: Manuel Antonio National Park. Following breakfast, you will drive towards Quepos (approx 5 hrs) and the gorgeous Pacific coastal resort area, which borders Manuel Antonio National park. This section of the country features some of the most beautiful beaches, exotic jungles and breathtaking scenery in Central America. Casitas Eclipse Hotel or similar. (3 nights).

 Day 8: San José. Today, drive back to San José (approx. 3 ½ hrs) for your last night. Hotel Presidente or similar. (1 night).

 Day 9: Return Home.
